Very good food great service and reasonably priced

Reasonably priced good food with ample portions! And the desserts are all handmade and great.

We were visiting the area, and looking for a place to stop for lunch. Read the reviews, and decided to give it a try. We weren't disappointed. Very friendly staff. Food was prepared quickly, and was delicious! Reasonably priced as well.

Lives up to it's name with good comfort food.

Friendly waitress. The burger is big and tasty. The dining room was very neat and clean.

Best hamburger I've ever eaten. Onion rings, mac n cheese awesome. Reuben not as good as burger but still good. Service outstanding!!

When you are ready to order, you simply go to the register and place your order and pay right then! No having to wait for a bill! The food arrives quickly and everything is delicious! Treat yo' self!!

Pretty durn good food. Had the chicken and dumplings side salad pinto beans and cornbread. I thought it was very delicious

WOW! Our first time here and was blown away ! The food and prices were great but the service and friendliness of the entire staff was over the top. Do yourself a favor and get here. You will love it.

The people were friendly and helpful. However, their boneless pork chop special is misrepresented. They were not pork chops, they were pork steaks which are the flat cuts, pounded flatter and have the gristle running through the meat. The flavor was pretty good but I absolutely hate gristle. I know they have a good reputation. It's a huge restaurant. One of our party got the fish which she said was good, along with the fries. Would I go there again? I'm not sure. The service was great. I just wish I didn't choose what we had. I'm sure anything else would have been great.

Comfort Grub is the best place to eat. Excellent food excellent staff and spotless.

Food is always excellent. HUGE portions. The blueberry cobbler is awesome! They completely remodeled the place for a long term approach to social distancing and they did it in a way that doesn't look clumsy. The staff is wonderful. The place was so clean that every booth and table shined! This was my second visit and I will be there every time I'm in Murphy.

Great place with super friendly staff and perfectly seasoned food! Reasonably priced and generous portions. We got there at 7:15 (closes at 8), it had been super busy earlier (2 lines out the door for over an hour), and the staff was still friendly! Anyone who has worked in this industry knows that says a lot. We would definitely go back anytime we are in the area.

Get away from the fast food strip and go a little bit down the road here. Home cooked food that was quick and tasty. Hit the spot.

Had takeout at Comfort Grub for the first time during the COVID-19 shelter-in-place. The dinner plates are good southern comfort food. We had the chicken fried steak and the baked chicken. Both were good. Two servers waited on patrons in their cars - even in the rain. They took orders and payments at the car and then delivered the owner-prepared food to us to ensure social distancing. Will return again in the near future.

Really great place to eat. The menu has a unique variety of foods, some traditional and some with new spins on old favorites. The inside is really clean and well maintained.

The reuben was awesome and be sure to try the jalapeno ranch.

I can't say enough good things about this place. GREAT food found here. Country cooking at its finest. So flavorful and filling. Friendly people and wait staff.

I gave them 2 stars because my son enjoyed his meal.We stopped in on the way home for my sons birthday and the only thing I can say god about it is that my son liked his burger and the dining room was clean. My husband and I ordered the hamburger steak , we didn’t expect to get a frozen burger patty that had the taste and texture of being pre-cooked and microwaved. My daughter ordered the Southwest grilled chicken salad. The salad looked wilted and the chicken was cold. We sent the salad back, when I ask for a refund for it the person acted like I had committed a sin. And told me that the salad was her best seller. If it is I feel sorry for their customers.

Reason for the 4 star was cause of table service. The server was awesome, so was the grub. Just didn't understand having servers to take order and bring food to you. When you self serve on your drink. Just different is all. L

My boyfriend and I love coming here! They’re always so sweet and make you feel so welcome, plus the food is bomb. My boyfriend and I try something new every time we go. Today I tried their smothered meatloaf, it tastes just like how my grandma makes (no kidding). It was delicious and they strive to have the best food and costumer service possible. We tried their stuffed portabella mushrooms today as well, they are amazing. Portion sizes are awesome too. I didn’t finish all of my food, I felt bad for leaving it there and didn’t want them to think I didn’t like it. I just knew if I took it home I wouldn’t eat it later and would just forget about it. Hoping to possibly try a dessert next time we go!

Really Great Grub! Hubby and I were driving past on errands and since it was past lunchtime stopped for a bite. So glad we did! Great menu with lots of interesting items for any taste, good prices and great quality food. The service is excellent with friendly and attentive waitstaff, good portions of perfectly prepared meals. We were impressed and will be back soon!

What a delicious hidden little gem right at the end of hwy 129, Murphy cross roads . Stopped in on a gamble.....WOW so glad we did, Super clean place, Super friendly staff, and delicious food! I had the Reuben with purple kraut....oh my goodness is was yummy. Even the fountain drinks were spot on not watered down. Definitely worth the stop!

We really like this restaurant. Good variety of menu options, good service. My particular favourite is the triple grilled cheese with bacon and tomato - yum! Good coleslaw, and satisfying salads.

Very tasty food and an excellent selection of food. Only took one star off because the portion weren't very large and no one came to quailty check on us after our food was dropped off. It also has a huge parking lot which was great because we came in our camper along with another family that had a RV too.

Friendly people, great (big) burger. Not so great chicken sandwich.

We love it! The hard part here is getting past the country fried steak on the menu, it is SOOO good we almost never order anything else. Crispy and flavorful, smothered in brown gravy with your choice of sides (I like the creamy mashed potatoes and seasoned country green beans, though my wife swears by the pinto beans). For $1.99 more you can smother with sautéed onions and mushrooms. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, it's a win even if you lose at the nearby casino. Only downside is they are closed Sunday through Tuesday. When they are open, though, a stop is a must in Murphy!

Great and friendly service. Our food was served very quickly and with a smile. Sorry we stayed away so long. Sherry is a super greeter and has a friendly and engaging personality.

Mac and Cheese and chicken tenders are the best! Friendly wait staff and a great place to eat!

After reading the reviews we decided to give them a try for lunch and the food was delicious. Everyone was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. Super friendly staff. Quick service. Great price. Very clean and welcoming. And most importantly delicious food (chicken pot pie and burgers this visit). We’ll definitely be back anytime we’re in Murphy.
